​The annual conference held each May, brings together executive directors, board members, staff and volunteers, including the current Academy participants and alumni, to explore in-depth topics related to nonprofit management and leadership. The conference features morning and afternoon breakout education and work sessions led by nonprofit professionals. Sessions at the conference include topics such as 1) Grant Application and Management; 2) Nonprofit Financial Considerations; 3) Recruitment and Managing Volunteers; 4) Legal Obligations of Nonprofit Leaders; 5) Grant Funding Information Network; 6) Board Recruitment and Development; 7) Marketing and Public Relations; and 8) Leadership Development.
